Specifically, Indium Tin Foil (In52Sn8) represents a low-temperature eutectic alloy with a melting point of 118°C. It exhibits remarkable ductility, thermal fatigue resistance, electrical conductivity, and wettability to non-metals like copper plates, glass, and ceramics. Widely utilized as a specialized solder, particularly in microelectronics assembly and various welding applications such as glass-glass and glass-metal joints.

Furthermore, Indium-tin alloy, including variants like In50Sn50 and In52Sn48 foils, can be customized to varying sizes and thicknesses to suit specific requirements. This alloy can even replace silver materials in certain applications, significantly reducing material thermal resistance.

Pure Indium Tin based Thermal Interface Material TIM.
Able to withstand temperatures from -273 to 155°C
Thermal conductivity 10 times greater than most thermal greases and thermal sheets (84 w/m-k).
Safe for use in vacuum environments, will not outgas.
Stays malleable/deformable at cryogenic temperatures.

Packing, Transportation and Storage

Packing: Indium Tin Foil is clamped with a double-sided shaping plate and sealed externally in a vacuum bag, 1 piece per bag.

By Air: 1-3days to destination airport.

By Sea:7-40days to destination port.

Storage: To extend storage time and minimize surface oxidation, please strictly seal the indium foil in its original container, ensuring a relative humidity of 55% or lower and a temperature not exceeding 22 ° C. Indium foil can also be stored in an inert atmosphere, such as a nitrogen drying oven.
