Indium foil can be used as a gasket acting for pressure and vacuum sealing purposes, and when used as a gasket between a silicon diode or other temperature sensor and a refrigerator cold table, indium foil increases the thermal contact area and prevents the sensor from separating due to vibration. It can also be used as a gasket for covers, flanges, and windows in low-temperature applications. It remains soft and maneuverable at low temperatures. It is an excellent choice for cryogenic pumps, high vacuum systems, and other unique connection and sealing applications.

Packing, Transportation and Storage
Packing
Indium foil is clamped with a double-sided shaping plate and sealed externally in a vacuum bag, 1 piece per bag.
Transportation
By Fedex, DHL, UPS, 5-7days with door to door delivery.
By Air: 1-3days to destination airport.
By Sea:7-40days to destination port.
Storage
To extend storage time and minimize surface oxidation, please strictly seal the indium foil in its original container, ensuring a relative humidity of 55% or lower and a temperature not exceeding 22 ° C. Indium foil can also be stored in an inert atmosphere, such as a nitrogen drying oven.
A NOTE OF CAUTION: Do not allow the freshly etched indium parts to come in contact with one another because they will cold weld to each other (sticks like contact cement).

The recycling of indium has important environmental significance and helps reduce the impact on the natural environment. Our company is willing to recycle used scraps.
